• Energy-usage events you send (watt-seconds, device ID, geo ISO, timestamps).
• Billing data stored by Stripe; we never store full card numbers.

2 How We Use Information

• Provide and secure the Service.
• Generate invoices and process payments.
• Improve accuracy and performance.

3 Sharing & Sub-processors

We share data only with essential providers:

• Amazon Web Services – hosting & database
• Stripe – payment processing
• SendGrid – transactional e-mail

No data is sold or rented to third parties.

4 Security

Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.2+), least-privilege access, encrypted secrets.

5 Retention

Raw usage events older than 365 days are purged of personal identifiers.

6 Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data by e-mailing powermeterapi@gmail.com. Californian residents may opt-out of "sale" of personal data (we do not sell).

7 Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8 International Transfers

Data may be processed in the United States. Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards apply.

9 Changes

Material changes will be announced 30 days in advance.
